We have a new bedtime routine since Emma is here now. Our night usually goes...Feed Emma while Daddy gets Jacob's jammies on, brush our teeth, say prayers together (Jacob always asks to hold Emma while we do), tuck Emma in, then put Jacob to bed. His prayers are always so sweet. One night I decided to record them. :)
"Thank you for Lord. And thank you for God making the World, and bread and water. And the boat. And the Tv to watch monster trucks. And the other monster trucks to watch on the computer and tv. And Emma. And thank you making Emma's toys. Thank you God for making her shoes and dress. Thank you for making Emma, Daddy, and Mommy. The End!"
Random: My 40wk Belly. So THANKFUL she was only one day late. I felt stretched to the max!
Oh the things Daddy does to his little man. :)

We have been enjoying the beautiful weather this summer. So glad we are actually getting a bit of sunshine. However, its almost been too hot to have the kiddos outside for long periods of time. I had gotten so use to getting out everyday for school that I was starting to feel a little cooped up. So, we decided to take a trip to Port Angeles/Sequim to get out and introduce Miss Emma to some more family and friends. :) We had a blast! Here are some pictures and videos from our adventure!
Getting ready to head out. Jacob is very proud of this outfit
from Grandma Kiki, especially the shoes!
Emma all ready for her first long car ride. Poor thing was so
sleepy and ready to go!

Jacob has always done so great in the car (Thank Goodness). I decided a while back to put a canvas tub full of books/coloring books to keep him entertained. Not quite sure why he reads his coloring books? Either way its super cute looking back at him reading his books. It is so fun listening to the stories he makes up to go along with the pictures.

Jacob loves Cougar. When we got to Grandma Kiki's he heard someone say her name. He got so excited, "It's Mummu's Cougar!!" The rest of the day he begged her to follow him everywhere. Praying for a fenced in yard someday, so we can give this little guy a puppy of his own! :)

Auntie Laci and Emma.
My sweet little girl!
Our little munchkins. You can tell Jacob enjoyed visiting all the kids, he is a sweaty little man!
Love them!
Great-Auntie Jess
Jessica and I decided to get out the house with all the kiddos for a little trip to the park. I can't remember the last time I went to Dream Playground. It's been a REALLY long time. They had fun playing and Jess and I got to catch up!

Luke, Mark, Jacob, Cami, Emma, and Laci.
They are all looking so grown! Crazy how time flies.

Such a beauty! The only featured I prayed for, was daddy's big blue eyes.
Looks like God answered my prayers! :)

Grandma Kiki has quite the little farm. Jacob and Uncle Dalton enjoyed checking out all the animals. Dalton really wanted to take the rabbit home.

Grandma has also put in quite the impressive 100ft slip-n-slide, which we all enjoyed trying out! Dalton couldn't wait for the sun, so him and Luke went for a ride while it was chilly out. Yikes! The following day the sun was out and the Jacob and I were ready to check it out! He LOVED it! I started him out at only a few feet from the bottom, but after a few runs he was starting at the top with all the other kids. :) He has become quite the little dare-devil. Daddy is mighty proud of that, Mommy...not so much!
Crazy...there is only a 2 year difference between these two!
Dalton and Luke's run.
The first run of the day was a hilarious tubing event! We all got a good laugh.
Watching the crazy boys!

Jacob's Slip-n-slide fun!

Jacob was so tired after all the fun he crashed on Grandma's couch.

We spent that evening with Connie and Riley. We had burgers, roasted marshmellows, and got in a good long visit. You two are always such great company. Jacob had a blast running around with Sam's dog Mya. He really does need one of his own! :)
Connie and Emma. Leah, she is so ready to be a Grandma! Just look at that smile. :) Hurry up and have Baby Boy!
Uncle Dalton and Emma. He spent the whole day with us and didn't ask to hold her. Then as we are standing around at Connie and Riley's he asks, "Can I just hold her already!" Silly guy. He loves being an Uncle.

Our ferry ride home!

For the longest time it took quite a bit to get this girl to smile. Now there is no stopping her.
Jacob gets the best ones out of her!! I love that they have such a sweet, sibling bond already!
Makes my heart melt! :)

Definitely a Daddy's Girl. Anytime he is around she stops and stares. He can always grab her attention and make her grin. :) She loves the sound of his voice and his bizarre noises.

Finally found some cozy carseat accessories. You'd like they'd be easy to find in a town with almost every department store known to man. But, No! It was quite the task, but well worth the hunt.
We have also been on some other fun adventures. It took a while, but Jacob has finally fell in love with being in the water. Not quite sure why he was so reluctant at first. Now if there is water in site, he is in it! :)
Here we spent the day with Auntie Tara out at Lake. Mommy forgot his swim trunks, but that didn't stop him. He always has a blast playing in the water, taking paddle boat rides, andd playing in the huge sand box! While he plays, Tara and I get some much needed girl time. I always love spending time with her and the girls. They are such incredible young women!

My sweet little lake baby. Emma LOVES being outside!!
We also spent some time out at Birch Bay with Grandma Terry, Ocean, and Durban. Jacob started the day out in shorts, but took a nasty fall on some barnicles and decided pants would be more safe. I don't know what it is but he is incredible accident prone. Always getting new bumps, bruises, and scrapes. Either it's a little boy thing or he takes after Grandpa Barry. ;)

Jake and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary together on August 13th. It fell on a Monday, so we enjoyed a relaxing night in together. It was much needed after the long day he had at work. We had a huge spread of Mexican goodness, ate our wedding cake for dessert (we were surprised at how yummy it was, still super moist and tasty), and watched our wedding video. What a special day we shared together, and with friends and family. I'd love an excuse to wear my dress again!!

It is crazy to think about all that has happened in a year. I went back to school, Jacob turned 3, we had our baby girl, and much more! We are both looking forward to what next year has in store.

When Emma was 10 days old we had newborn photos taken. We are so blessed to of had a friend from school offer to take them for us. He did a fantastic job! Thank you Genaro Photography! :)

Any family or friends who would like any of them please let me know which photo and what size. I will make copies and send them to you! (I numbered the pictures to make it easy)
